Maclaren Recall

Maclaren USA have announced a voluntary recall of  a number of Maclaren umbrella  strollers. The US reported incidents that have occurred when a child not in the stroller has inadvertently placed a finger between the elbow joint folding mechanisms when the stroller has been unfolded for use. When the Maclaren strollers are used according to the supplier instruction there is no saftey risk to the child. Read more

Important safety tips for stroller use from CNP Brands & Maclaren
• Always read the operating instructions before use.
• Keep children clear of the stroller during opening and closing.
• Never allow children to fold or unfold a stroller.
• Never leave your child unattended in a stroller – even with the harness fastened. 
• Always use the safety harness and ensure it is correctly adjusted to fit child.
• Always use the tether strap supplied.
• Always apply the parking brakes when stationary.
• Don’t overload the stroller. Heavy items hanging from the handles can cause the stroller to topple over.
• Do not allow children to play with the stroller when not in use.
